Disability Strategy

The Independent Living Association is holding two workshops across West Sussex which will contribute towards developing a new disability strategy under this Government. Details of the events on Wednesday 15th February, 10.30-1.00, Crawley, K2 and Wednesday 22nd February, 10.00-12.30, Bognor Regis, Arena Sports Centre will follow soon . . .

West Sussex CVS Training Group courses

Equality Act 2010

The Equality Act 2010 replaces the existing anti-discrimination laws with one act and came into effect on the 1^st October 2010. It strengthens the law in important ways to help tackle discrimination and inequality and regulates the way in which an association treats its members, guests and associates. HACVS is a membership organisation which is open to any voluntary or not-for-profit body working in this region, subject to some governance requirements.
