Community Development Schemes Established

Two New Community Development Schemes established.

Two new community development schemes have been established in Southwater and Roffey.

In Southwater the Community Action Plan is headed up by Action in Rural Sussex and is intended for residents to identify and prioritise their wishes for future developments in the village.  If you have views on this subject and wish to participate please contact Rowena Tyler [Rowena.Tyler@ruralsussex.org.uk]

In Roffey the process is being led by Trevor Beadle from HDC with the aim to reinvigorate the community and address a number of difficult issues which are currently holding the area back. The issues are affecting all age groups and are generally concerned with, but not restricted to, substance abuse and social exclusion and their wider impact on the whole community.  If you or your organisation would be interested in becoming involved or finding out more about the project please contact Trevor Beadle (Trevor.Beadle@horsham.gov.uk)
