
CARER AWARENESS TRAINING
At any one time about 10% of the
population are carers – looking after members of their family or friends
with illness or disability.
The aim of the training is to
increase understanding of what it is really like to be a carer and how staff
or voluntary sector staff can support carers through their role.

be a carer and the issues faced by carers on a day to day basis

and support is available for carers

practice could transform the experience of being a carer

The course is from 9.15 a.m. to
1.00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
