About Us

The Horsham Volunteer Centre was first established in Horsham Town Centre in 1980 and has continued to develop the service covering the entire Horsham District.

A voluntary organisation steered by a board of trustees and run by part-time paid and volunteer staff. Over 250 organisations and Community Groups are registered with openings for a variety of voluntary opportunities. With hundreds of enquiries each year, the Centre provides a link for volunteers in identifying voluntary openings to suit them.

The Volunteer Centre operates from a central office in Horsham Town. We are accessible to individuals seeking volunteering opportunities, voluntary organisations and community groups across the district.

What We Do

Our strong links with local groups, national and regional charities, support agencies and statutory bodies, enable us to promote and develop opportunities and to act as a broker.
We continuously aim to involve, across the Horsham district, more people from all backgrounds and circumstances, in rewarding volunteer activities.

The Volunteer Centre is able to provide a range of volunteering opportunities and support to get you started
