Billingshurst Community Transport

Covering the areas of Billingshurst, Plaistow/ Ifold, Kirdford and Shipley.  Anyone unable to use public transport, either through disability or frailty, are invited to use this scheme.  Volunteer drivers either use their own car or drive a fully accessible wheelchair vehicle provided by the scheme.  Where appropriate an escort may accompany a passenger at no extra charge.  Home pick up or any other location within the area served.  For additional information please call the Co-ordinator on 01403 787679 Monday – Friday 9.30 am-11.30 am .  To help ensure your needs can be met 48 hours notice is required.

Community Bus Association (Steyning)

01903 815181 Assists older people who have no transport of their own. Runs Monday - Friday and covers Washington, Ashurst, Upper Beeding and Steyning.
Horsham Area Community Car Scheme 01403 250202 Offers affordable transport to people who are unable to use public transport for reasons of disability or frailty.
Horsham Community Transport
(Dial-A-Ride)
01403 754206 Dial-A-Ride is for people of any age, who due to a temporary or permanent disability are unable to use ordinary buses. Can NOT be used for hospital appointments. The minibus has low steps, lots of handles, a tail lift and wheelchair clamping facilities. Dial-A-Ride operates Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and journeys must be booked between 9.30am - 10.30am on the day before you wish to travel.
Horsham Leisure Link 01403 215493 A sports, arts and recreation development team operating a community outreach service and after school clubs. Also on offer are youth activities, an arts outreach programme, coach education, school/club links and a residential homes service.
Pulborough Dial-A-Ride 01798 875600 Have a converted vehicle and wheelchair for people who cannot access public transport. All age groups catered for. Office open Tuesday - Friday 11am - 1pm. Answerphone available.
Steyning
Good Neighbours
01903 814112 Help is given to people in the Steyning area with special needs who require transport to hospitals, clinics etc in West Sussex. Also help with shopping, visit to the hairdresser, dentist, optician etc. to book a journey please telephone Mrs. Pat Everett.
Women's Royal Voluntary Service 01403 256622 Area Office covering West Sussex, Surrey and South West London. Providing meals on wheels and books on wheels to the homes of the elderly, housebound etc. Clubs for the elderly, baby clinics, trolley shop, work in hospitals, visiting service for the lonely and housebound, contact centres and social car scheme and also work in times of accident or emergency.
