Across West Sussex there are 8 volunteer centres, managed locally. Your role would be to work with them in order to develop and maintain a consistent approach to their work. An important part of the role is to identify new volunteering projects and seek funding to support them. You will also be responsible for supporting the centres to work towards an agreed quality standard. You will need the ability to develop services through forward planning, to be able to write successful funding bids and to be passionate about the importance of volunteering to the community in West Sussex. Although based at our office in Crawley the post will cover the whole of the county and we are able to be flexible over hours worked and the location of the post holder.
